The Kumara Racing Club hosts one of the most popular race meetings in New Zealand, the Kumara Gold Nuggets.
Many West Coasters return for this historic raceday to meet with family and friends and enjoy the social atmosphere generated by the many tents and BBQ's which carry on until late in the night.
Our club is made up of long time, passionate volunteers who manage the clubs grounds and prepare for our annual meeting.
If you would like to join us in volunteering throughout the year, leading up to the big day, or at our meeting please let us know! We are so lucky to have so much support behind us, and appreciate everyone who gets involved. The time and effort they put in, make our club what it is.
