Sunset Helicopter Flights

10 minute post-meeting flights

Waipara Hills Helicopters are offering 10 minute post-meeting helicopter flights for 2025! Flights are limited, so if you are keen for a tour from above, book in now!

Race Day Buses

We offer free buses too and from Greymouth and Hokitika on race day.

Greymouth - 2 Buses, 2 stops, Recreation Hotel and Paroa Hotel 10.30am & 11.00am

Hokitika - Outside Westland Highschool Hampden street 1 Bus, 1 stop 10.30am

All buses leave after last race

Buses are not booked through the Kumara Racing Club. Please be at the stops on time

This is a family event

We love being able to provide a BYO option for food and beverage. In order for us to continue this, please drink responsibly. We do not tolerate intoxication or inappropriate behavior. Free water available, organize a safe and sober travel option.
