Community Matters
We love to be able to offer the club grounds as a prime location for many community groups and events throughout the West Coast. If you would like to use the Kumara Racing Club as a venue, please get in touch!
Matariki at the Club
The Hokitika Lions club put on an incredible Matariki light show for the locals 28th June 2024. The event drew a large crowd, with food stools, night market stools, light toys for the kids, live entertainment and a fantastic fireworks display.
School Cross-Country
Our track is built for speedy runners, and that we have had! Midland Line Cross-Country and representatives of multiple Coast primary schools have been on course tackling a competitive circuit. Paul McBride captured the runners in May
Club and Grandstand
Donations
Our beautiful Grandstand is the heart of our club. It has stood strong in the wild West Coast weather for over 100 years and we are fundraising towards another 100 years.
